In evaluating proposals, WSISD shall consider the purchase price (50%), reputation of the vendor and their goods/services (10%), service to like kind entities (10%), length of time in industry (0%), reference checks (10%), quality of the vendor's goods or services (10%), compliance to solicitation (3%), the extent to which the goods or services meet the district's needs (1%), completeness of solicitation (3%), product/services offered (1%), the vendor's past relationship with the district (0%), the impact on the ability of the district to comply with laws and rules relating to historically underutilized businesses (2%), and the total long-term cost to the district to acquire the vendor's goods or services (2%).
Vendors must provide a minimum of three references, preferably with other governmental agencies, for work or services in the last 3-5 years of the same type and size as the project being proposed. They must also provide company name, contact person, business address, phone number, email address, and a description of services performed and dates of service for each reference.
