Contractor has been regularly and actively engaged in the applicable contracting business, operating under the same business name and business organization structure, and performed the type of work described in the applicable scope of work for a minimum of 3 years

Samples requested must be furnished free of expense to the board.

All questions must be submitted in writing through bidnet no later than 2: 00pm, september 8.

Failure to provide such documentation upon request shall result in disqualification of the bidder or contract termination.

Offerors with a record of poor performance with the school district in the last 24 months may be found non responsible and ineligible for award.

Proposals must be received by August 10, 2026, by 2:00 PM local time. Late proposals shall not be considered for award.

Payments may be made early to take advantage of cash discounts offered provided the taking of such discounts is advantageous to FCPS.

KRS **** provides severe penalties for violations of laws relating to gratuities or kickbacks to employees designed to secure a public contract for supplies or services. Violation of rules regarding alcohol, drugs, tobacco products or firearms is considered a breach of contract and may lead to termination for cause.

Any actual or prospective bidder, offeror or contractor who is aggrieved in connection with the solicitation or the award of a contract may protest in writing, within 14 days after such aggrieved person knows, or should have known, of the facts giving rise thereto.

Proposals submitted on company forms may be rejected. Erasures or the use of typewriter correction fluid on proposal forms are unacceptable and may result in rejection. Failure to provide documentation supporting a bidder's claim of resident bidder status upon request shall result in disqualification.

Proposals must be received by July 13, 2026, by 2:00 PM local time EST. Deliveries of items weighing 70 pounds or less are to be made to the FCPS warehouse between 7:00 a. m. - 12:00 p. m. and 12:30 p. m. - 2:30 p. m. local time, excluding weekends and holidays, unless a different location is specified on the purchase order. All shipments are to be f. o. b. destination.

Vendors must have a large inventory of items in their catalog or store. They should not require deposits. Vendors with a small inventory or sole source/specialty items may not be considered. The contractor shall have offices or primary work locations for related personnel in physical proximity to the school not to exceed 120 miles to allow service response times required for warranty and as described herein.

Any vendors wanting to submit a proposal must do a site visit prior to the deadline of the RFP submittal. They shall schedule that site visit by contacting Lieutenant Eckhardt at ***@***. *. * to do a site visit will result in submitted proposal being considered nonresponsive and not considered.
