Boston EMS is seeking to lease a facility within the city of Boston for its Materials Management Division. The facility should be between 8,000 and 10,000 sq ft, with easy access for vehicles, adequate utilities, and compliance with ADA and building codes. Interior requirements include a loading area, waiting area, pick area, warehouse, offices, secure medication storage, laundry area, and restrooms. The lease term should be a minimum of 5 years. Proposals are due by July 21, 2026. Interviews and site visits will be scheduled for eligible agencies.
The required product and services shall be from date of contract execution through June 30, 2032 at minimum, depending on funding.
BPHC shall choose the proposal that is most advantageous to Boston EMS, taking into consideration all evaluation criteria as well as price.
Proposals must include a document describing the leasable space, respondent's experience leasing facilities to public sector agencies, a prospective lease, site location map, floor plan, summary of lease agreements, disclosure of environmental hazards, proof of ownership, photo inventory, statement of building code compliance, maintenance schedule, list of responsible staff, workforce diversity information, and three references.
Upon review of proposals, Boston EMS/BPHC will reach out to eligible agencies to schedule interviews and site visits.
