This is a Request for Information (RFI) from the 96th Test Systems Squadron (TSSQ) to gather capabilities statements from potential sources for telemetry systems capable of meeting telemetry best source selector requirements. The Eglin Gulf Test and Training Range (EGTTR) currently uses telemetry systems and is interested in commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) and government off-the-shelf (GOTS) solutions. Key requirements include grouping and processing up to 80 telemetry receivers tracking nine 20 MB/s telemetry transmitters, with a clear upgrade path to 50 MB/s. The government is interested in systems with an easy-to-use interface, supporting IRIG Standard ****, Telemetry over Internet Protocol, and Data Quality Metric (DQM) and Data Quality Encapsulation (DQE) as defined in IRIG Standard **** capabilities include IRIG 218 source ingest not logically limited by arbitrary numbers, 1G/10G NIC capability, ability to input TMOIP and output analog/digital and vice versa, exposed user software API, event logging, remote file writing, up to 8 sources in a source selection group, time stitching/alignment, acceptance of various time sources (IRIG A, IRIG B, PTP, NTP), frame sync source selection with majority vote for encrypted data, and compliance with DoD network and DISA STIGs. Interested sources must demonstrate capacity and capability in procurement, installation, design, testing, modification, repair, refurbishment, maintenance, operation, calibration, alignment, tuning, and performance verification of telemetry systems. Responses, in the form of a white paper (max 8 pages) or PowerPoint presentation (max 16 slides), are due no later than 30 days from RFI release. Submissions should be electronic and include administrative information (company name, address, CAGE code, POC, contact details, business size status, foreign ownership status) and address the information requested in Section 3. Proprietary information should be clearly marked. All submissions become U. S. Government property. Questions should be submitted in writing to Mr. Aldrich. Government responses to general, non-proprietary questions will be shared with industry. This RFI is for planning purposes only and does not constitute a commitment to procure any items.
The white papers and/or powerpoint presentations are due no later than 30 days from RFI release.
Interested sources must provide demonstrated capacity and capability with verifiable past performance history to provide engineering and technical support for procurement, installation, design, testing, modification, repair, refurbishment, maintenance, operation, calibration, alignment, tuning, and performance verification of telemetry systems.
The government does not guarantee questions received after 15 days from release date will be answered in time for the 30 days from release date submittals.
