The bidder with the lowest total calculated cost will be awarded the contract. The contract term will begin on the last dated signature of all parties and expire on June 30, 2026. The total value of the awarded contract will not exceed $100,000 during its term. Itemized invoices must be provided with each transcript delivered. Additional services will not be billed separately. Bidders must complete the cost and calculated cost columns for each line item in the pricing table. Bidders must provide court reporters who will take verbatim dictation of various proceedings, meetings, conferences, hearings, etc. , and provide IDFPR with a certified typewritten verbatim transcription. Transcripts must be delivered within 21, 7, or 24 calendar days, depending on the type of transcript. Real-time court reporting service engagements during normal business hours (8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Central) and outside normal business hours are also required. The standard format of transcripts must follow specific requirements, including paging, margins, and formatting. Upon request, transcripts will be in hardcopy or electronic format (ASCII). Hardcopy transcripts must be bound to facilitate photocopying. Bidders must provide the following additional services: appearance fee for certified court reporter to be physically present to perform court reporting services (1-hour minimum), and transcripts delivered to IDFPR within 21 calendar days of engagement (both electronic and hard copies). Bidders must use only certified shorthand court reporters proficient in verbatim transcription or equivalent resources approved by IDFPR. Some engagements will include discussions with highly technical terms and notation. In such cases, the offeror shall provide certified shorthand reporters with court reporting experience relative to the nature of the engagement.
