The contract term for landscaping services will be from April 15, 2026, through November 30, 2026. The contract term for Yale Acres may extend past November 30, 2026, for fall cleanup.

All bids will be evaluated based on the criteria set forth in the bid documents and a recommendation will be made to the board of commissioners of the Housing Authority of City of Meriden.

The MHA will award contracts only to contractors who have the ability to perform successfully under the requirements of the proposed contract. In determining the responsibility of the contractor, the MHA will consider such matters as the contractor's integrity, record of past performance, equipment and labor resources.

If the contractor fails or refuses to perform the work or any part thereof with due diligence that will ensure its completion within the time specified in this contract, the MHA may, by written notice to the contractor, terminate the contractor's right to proceed.
