Sealed proposals will be received by the Borough of Riverdale in the council chambers on Friday, September 19, 2025, at 10:00 AM. Proposals must be submitted on the provided forms, enclosed in sealed envelopes, and accompanied by a non-collusion affidavit, proof of insurance, a list of all subcontractors, and a record of recent contract awards. Bidders must comply with the New Jersey prevailing wage act and have a business registration certificate. A non-refundable charge of **** per set is required for proposal and specifications. Payment must be in cash, certified check, or money order. Proposals will be accepted only from bidders who have been properly qualified. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The Borough reserves the right to conduct investigations and request additional information. All costs incurred by the respondent are borne solely by the respondent. Clarifications must be submitted in writing by September 14, 2025. The Borough may request respondents to send representatives for interviews with less than 24 hours' advance notice.

Bidders must submit certified photocopies of their certificate of public convenience and necessity, a questionnaire setting forth experience and qualifications, a bid guarantee (bid bond, certified check or cashier's check), a noncollusion affidavit, a stockholder statement of ownership, a business registration certificate, a certificate of surety, and a bid proposal. The bid opening is scheduled for Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 10:00 AM at 91 Newark-Pompton Turnpike. Bids must be delivered by hand or mail no later than 10:00 AM on Thursday, September 18, 2025. The contract period is five years, commencing October 1, 2025. The contract includes collection, removal, and disposal of solid waste and bulk waste, and recyclable materials. Collection will be on Tuesdays for solid waste and Fridays for recyclables. The borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The successful bidder will be required to provide a performance bond and comply with affirmative action requirements.

Sealed proposals for solid waste collection and disposal services will be received by the Borough of Riverdale on Friday, May 23, 2025, at 10:00 AM. Bidders must comply with New Jersey state statutes (****, Chapter 127; ****, Chapter 33; N. J. S. The contract period is five years, commencing June 1, 2025.
