Request for proposals for the lease of 20,095 sf of office space and 195 sf of outdoor lounge area in Hays or Caldwell County, Texas for the Department of Public Safety - Drivers License. Proposals are due June 23, 2026. The lease term is for five or ten years, starting May 1, 2027. The evaluation criteria include cost, location, condition, and lessor's performance. All proposals are subject to the Texas Public Information Act.
Proposals are due June 23, 2026, at 3:00 PM CT.
The contract will be awarded to the respondent whose proposal is considered to provide the best value to the state of Texas, considering cost, age, type, condition, and location of lease space, among other factors.
Respondents must provide company information, litigation history, relevant experience and financial condition, references, property condition statement, and evidence of ownership or control.
If Lessor defaults on the lease, TFC reserves the right to cancel the lease without notice and either resolicit or reaward the lease to the next best responsive and responsible respondent.
Protests are governed by TAC Title 1, Administration, Part 5 Texas Facilities Commission, Chapter 111 Administration, Subchapter 1 Complaints and Dispute Resolution, **** Protests/Dispute Resolution/Hearings.
Failure to submit a completed or signed Attachment C, submitting proposals without required information, or failing to acknowledge addenda may result in disqualification.
