The Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV) is seeking proposals from real estate brokerage firms to provide commercial real estate representation services statewide. Services include assisting TxDMV with leasing and acquiring properties for Regional Service Centers (RSCs). Responses are due by June 10, 2026, at 3:00 PM Central Time. The contract will be awarded based on best value. All services must be provided by licensed Texas real estate brokers or agents. The contract term is anticipated to be from the effective date until August 31, 2027, with potential extensions up to five years. TxDMV makes no guarantee of volume, usage, or compensation.
Responses are due June 10, 2026, by 3:00 p. m. Central Time.
The contractor's commission fee is documented in Exhibit C, Cost Proposal Workbook. Any fee/commission owed will be paid solely by the property owner, controller, or lessor, as applicable. TxDMV will not owe or remit any fee or funds to the contractor.
The award will be based on the best value to the state, considering pricing (30%), past performance, qualifications, and experience (30%), and approach for providing services (40%).
Respondents must be engaged in commercial real estate brokerage for at least five years, have licensed Texas real estate brokers and agents with at least five years of experience, be authorized to do business in Texas, and be financially solvent.
Failure to submit required information and documentation, unsigned responses, late responses, or responses missing required information may result in disqualification.
