This is a competitive sealed proposal for Briercliff Park Improvements in Denton, Texas. The project includes additions and improvements to the existing park, such as new sidewalks, a splash park, restroom facility, replacement of playground facilities, and additional shade structures. The City of Denton intends to make payment within thirty days after receipt of valid invoices for which items or services have been received, unless unusual circumstances arise. The 30-day processing period for invoices begins on the date the invoice is received or the date the items or services are received, whichever is later.
The contractor shall provide a warranty as outlined in the project specifications.
The selection of a firm will be based on evaluation criteria including key personnel (10 points), quality, reputation, and ability to complete similar projects on schedule and within budget (15 points), detailed schedule and written plan (30 points), safety record (5 points), and price, total cost of ownership (40 points).
The City is requesting submissions from individuals or businesses with considerable experience in providing goods or services of this solicitation, possessing a proven track record of using innovative approaches and having the ability to accomplish all aspects of the requested services.
A pre-proposal meeting and project walkthrough will be conducted on Monday, May 11, 2026, at 10:30 AM CST. The project site walkthrough will directly follow. Attendance is in-person only for the meeting and walkthrough.
