The San Angelo Independent School District is seeking proposals for school
safety and
security audits at 30 facilities. Proposals are due by 3:00 PM on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, and must be submitted to the Purchasing Department at **** University, San Angelo, TX 76904. The bid packet is available online at www. ***. *. * or from the Purchasing Department. Proposals will be publicly opened immediately following the deadline. The audit must follow Texas Education Code **** and Texas School
Safety Center audit guidelines. Resumes of the audit team, including experience and completed audits, must be attached. Proof of insurance (general liability, auto liability, and workers' compensation) is required. Bidders must comply with all general and special terms and conditions, including the submission of required forms (non-collusion statement, felony conviction notification, bidder's certification, debarment and suspension certification, deviation compliance form, and no bid notification). The district reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to accept any proposal deemed most advantageous to the district. The criteria for awarding the bid include purchase price, vendor reputation, quality of goods, extent to which the goods meet district needs, vendor's past relationship with the district, hub requirements, and total long-term cost to the district.
