The solicitation is for the purchase of a Beaverfit Beyond Trailer 12 for the Ohio Department of Public Safety. Bidders must have an active MBE certification. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Bidders must be manufacturers, representatives, or authorized distributors. Descriptive literature may be required. Bids will be evaluated in accordance with ORC 125. 07. The state will multiply the bid prices by the estimated usage listed in the bid and then adding each of the totals together to arrive at a total for all items. Failure to bid all items may result in the bidder being deemed not responsive. Bidders should include a letter from each manufacturer represented on manufacturers letterhead signed by an authorized representative of the manufacturer attesting that the bidder is authorized to represent the manufacturer in this solicitation as part of each bid. If not included with the bid, bidder must provide authorization as specified above within seven days after requested by odps. Failure to provide such authorization may result in the bidder being determined not responsive and disqualified from consideration for award. If requested, the literature will be used in the evaluation process to determinethe lowest responsive and responsible bidder. if not provided as part of the bid response, the bidder mustprovide said literature within seven calendar days after requestnotification by the office of procurementservices to do so. Failure of the bidder to furnish descriptive literature either as part of their bid responseor within the time specified herein may deem the bidder not responsive.
