University of North Texas System (UNTS) is seeking qualifications for professional services for programming and design for renovations to support academic program expansion at a new offsite campus. The project delivery method is Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR). A mandatory site visit is scheduled for June 15, 2026. Qualifications are due by July 7, 2026. A VET HUB subcontracting plan is required. The initial phase will provide approximately 20,000 sq ft for classrooms, labs, and support spaces.
Qualifications are due by 2:00 p. m. CDT on July 7, 2026. The VET HUB subcontracting plan is also due by this date and time.
Firms will be selected based on experience and qualifications, including relevant successful experience, firm performance and quality of past projects, current capabilities, demonstrated ability to manage transitions, project management procedures, ability to monitor construction cost estimates, and the quality and responsiveness of the RFQ submittal.
Firms must be highly qualified with proven experience and expertise in high-quality health sciences academic projects and the ability to implement a user-driven process.
A mandatory site visit will be conducted at 10:00 a. m. on June 15, 2026, at the lobby area of Inspire Park, **** Research Road, Frisco, Texas 75033. This will be the only site walk conducted.
Failure to complete the VET HUB subcontracting plan correctly will disqualify your RFQ response. Proposals received late or exceeding the 25-page limit will not be accepted.
