Durham Public Schools is seeking proposals for student reengagement and reenrollment services to address declining enrollment. The selected vendor will be responsible for identifying disengaged students, conducting outreach, addressing barriers to reenrollment, and supporting successful transitions back into district schools. The vendor will be paid net thirty (30) calendar days after the vendor's invoice is approved by Durham Public Schools.
Proposals will be evaluated based on experience and qualifications (25%), quality of proposed approach (30%), demonstrated results and references (20%), cost-effectiveness (15%), and data security and compliance (10%).
Proposers should demonstrate experience working with public school districts or comparable public sector entities, proven success in student reengagement, recruitment, or dropout recovery initiatives, and capacity to manage sensitive student data in compliance with FERPA and applicable privacy laws.
The parties agree that the vendor shall be subject to amounts due as liquidated damages but not as a penalty, for each failure to meet performance standards.
Protest requests must be received within thirty (30) consecutive calendar days from the date of the contract award.
