Rutherford County Schools intends to award a contract using a best value procurement method and will use the following criteria in determining the recommended vendor: completeness of proposal requirements qualifications and relevant experience technical approach and demonstrated understanding of project past performances and references project schedule and coordination plans completeness and value of provided cost estimates.

Submitted RFPs should include firm qualifications company background and years in business applicable north carolina professional licensure information list and description of previous experience with similar stormwater andor culvert installation projects. experience working with k12 public school facilities.

The bid notice states esponses to request for qualifications will be received by rutherford county schools until 12: 00p. m. local time on february 06, 2026.

The selected firm shall indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the school system and its subsidiaries, divisions, officers, directors, and employees from all liability, loss, costs, claims, damages, expenses, attorney fees, judgments, and awards arising or claimed to have arisen, from any injury caused by orallegedly caused by, any act or omission of the selected firm, or any employee agent or assign.

The committee will use the following criteria to select an individualfirm for further consideration: 1. completeness of the response to this rfq as stated in the required content of response. 2. expertise and qualifications of key professional staff and the firm as a whole in the specific areas of architectural services. 3. performance history of the firm and its staff members with rutherford county schools and other clients. 4. availability of resources and current workload of the consultant team proposed for this project to meet project deadline. 5. proximity to and familiarity with rutherford county schools.

Respondents, both corporate and individual, must be fully licensed and certified for the type of workto be performed in the state of north carolina, at the time of submittal to their response to this rfq.

The rcs board is planning for abudgetary appropriation of no more than 800, **** for total turnkey designbuild services for theentire scope of work.

The notice does not specify the delivery deadline.

The contractor will invoice the board monthly for 1/12 of the current year state allotment.

The award shall be made to the lowest responsible offeror.

The contractor must be licensed by the North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles as a commercial driving school.
