Seeking bids for a one-year contract with four one-year renewals for maintenance supplies and services for campus fire protection systems. Services include inspection, maintenance, repair, recharging, and hydrostatic testing of portable fire extinguishers, engineered and preengineered fixed fire systems, and class II fire hoses. Offers must be submitted in a sealed package by August 21, 2026, at 2:00 PM. One paper copy and one electronic copy on a thumb drive are required. Questions must be received by August 5, 2026, at 2:00 PM. Award is expected by August 24, 2026. Bidders must be licensed and located within a 100-mile radius of The Citadel, Charleston, SC. Successful bidder must reply within two hours and have a technician on-site within four hours if requested.
Offers must be submitted by August 21, 2026, at 2:00 PM.
Discounts for prompt payment will not be considered in the evaluation of offers. However, any offered discount will form a part of the award, and will be taken if payment is made within the discount period indicated in the offer.
Award will be made to the lowest responsible and responsive bidders.
Bidders shall be properly licensed service organizations by the authority having jurisdiction and be located within a one-hundred-mile radius of The Citadel, Charleston, SC. The successful bidder must reply by phone within two hours upon receipt of a request for service and have a technician on site, if requested, within four hours.

To protest the solicitation or an amendment, your written protest must be received within fifteen days of the date the applicable solicitation document is issued. To protest an award, written notice of your intent to protest must be received within seven business days of the date the award notice is posted, and your actual written protest must be received within fifteen days of the date the award notice is posted.
Violation of prohibited communications and donations restrictions may result in disqualification of your offer, suspension or debarment, and may constitute a violation of law.
