The City of Pikeville is accepting sealed bids to repair a section of Mt Chase Dr. Bids must be received by October 2, 2026, at 10:00 a. m. The scope includes milling asphalt and demolishing concrete to be replaced with asphalt. The award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Bidders must warrant services for at least one year after installation.
The sealed bids should be received by the city of pikeville for the above referenced project until 10:00 a. m. prevailing local time on october 2, 2026.
Owner shall make progress payments on account of the contract price on the basis of contractors applications for payment on the 4 th monday of each month during performance of the work.
Bidder warrants said goods and services for a period of at least one 1 year after installation, unless otherwise specified in the bid documents.
Award will be made to the lowest responsive compliance with specifications and responsible bidder meeting specifications.
Contractor must demonstrate to the satisfaction of the city of pikeville that heshe has adequate equipment, personnel, experience and understanding of thespecifications to perform service under the contract.
Contractor shall pay owner **** for each day that expires after the time specified in paragraph 4. 02 for substantial completion until the work is substantially complete.
At the time of submission, each proposer or bidder will be presumed to have inspected the site, ifnecessary, and to have read the scope and to be thoroughly familiar with the project plans andcontract documents.
Each request for such interpretation should be in writing addressed to: city of pikeville, attn: cityclerk, 243 main street, pikeville, ky **** or by email to: ***@***. *. * and tobe given consideration must be received at least three 3 days prior to the date fixed for theopening of bids.
Failure to submit all forms andinformation required may be grounds for disqualification.
