The Kansas City Area Transportation Authority (KCATA) is issuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) on-call architectural/engineering (AE) services. This includes AE, MEP, and construction management and testing services. The selection process will be qualifications-based, in accordance with the Brooks Act and FTA requirements. KCATA will negotiate one-year agreements with options for four additional one-year extensions. The bid notice states that selections will be made at the sole discretion of KCATA and its evaluation team of subject matter experts, and that KCATA will negotiate with well-qualified firms. The proposal evaluation criteria are detailed in Section 4. 3 of the RFQ.
Firms are required to submit qualifications for specific categories, and KCATA will select firms based on their demonstrated capabilities and alignment with the criterion listed in the RFQ.
