Bids are due on Friday, April 4, 2025, by noon pm, submitted through Ohio buys. Proposals must be valid for 90 days after the bid due date. All communications will be directed to Jennifer Behrendt.
Project completion date is Friday, September 26, 2025. The
project is tax exempt. Improvement work occurs in existing occupied office space during normal hours. The contractor is responsible for all damage to existing structures and surroundings. Waste materials and debris must be disposed offsite. Work must comply with Ohio basic code, NFPA code, national electric code, national plumbing code, and other state and local codes. All work is to be performed per all current OSHA standards for construction safety and health. The contractor shall be responsible for scheduling and passing all inspections and the associated costs thereof. Quality assurance and quality control is mandatory. All work shall be completed in consecutive weeks, unless agreed upon. Contractors shall include and confirm compliance with this requirement in the proposal. Contractors must note lead times in the proposals. Daily reports are required. The contractor will be responsible for damage to any area or the restoration of an area or will compensate the agency for any damage adjacent to the surrounding areas. If applicable, the contractor has examined the site and is aware of the issues of installation of the scope of work in an occupied space. The contractor has included the impact of coordination with the tenant, means and methods to mitigate construction nuisances, such as but not limited to noise and vibration, smoke fumes or gases, dust, odors, utility outages, traffic and egress, alarms, etc. The site is subject to public intrusion. At the end of the workday, the site must be cleaned up and left in a safe condition. The contractor is to provide a final cleaning of the entire job site to the owners standards. If the contractor fails to clean the job site to all parties satisfaction, then the agency will provide a cleaning service at the contractors expense.
