This is a public tender notice from the Emmet County Road Commission for the Click Road Bridge Repair project. The scope of work includes aggregate base, erosion control, earth excavation, HMA surface removal, guardrail salvage and installation, bridge superstructure salvage and reinstallation, pile driving, structural steel work, timber modification, HMA paving, traffic control, and slope restoration. Bids will be accepted until 9:00 a. m. local time on April 21, 2026, at the Emmet County Road Commission office. Bid packages are available at the office or on their website. All bids must be sealed and marked with the project name and number. Mailed bids must be received by 3:30 p. m. the day prior to the bid opening. The contractor must be informed of the work conditions and understands that quantities are approximate. The Emmet County Road Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids. Contractor qualifications require specific information from pages **** of the specification or a current prequalification letter from MDOT. The project start date is after July 7, 2026, with a completion date of October 23, 2026, and the project must be completed within 45 days of the start date. Several submittals are required prior to project start, including a material source list and progress schedule. A punch list will be provided upon project completion, and final acceptance will be issued after all deficient items are addressed. The technical specifications follow the order of precedence: ECRC Proposal and Project Specifications, Special Provisions, MDOT Supplemental Specifications, ECRC Project Plans and Drawings, MDOT Standard Plans, and MDOT Standard Specifications. The engineer has the right to increase or decrease quantities based on unit prices. Bonding requirements include a performance bond and a payment bond, both equal to the contract price. Insurance requirements include general liability and automobile liability with specific coverage amounts. Liquidated damages will be assessed for failure to complete the project by the specified date.

The Emmet County Road Commission is seeking sealed bids for tree service needs for the 2024 season. Bids must be submitted on the enclosed bid sheet in a sealed envelope, clearly identifying the bidder and marked Tree Service. The work may be on Emmet County roads or MDOT highways. Traffic control and cleanup will be handled by the Emmet County Road Commission. Bids are valid for one year after approval. Bids will be received until 9:00 a. m. , Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at the Emmet County Road Commission offices in Harbor Springs, MI, where they will be publicly opened and read aloud. The Road Commission reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to award in its best interest. The bid includes providing a bucket truck and crewman on an as-needed basis and a stump grinder and operator on an as-needed basis.

Bids are requested for bituminous emulsion. Bidders must provide safety data sheets and certification of material. Bids must be submitted on the enclosed bid sheet and include allowable discounts and payment terms. Bid prices are valid for one year.
