Respondents should know that the town of scarborough will not make any advance payments under this agreement. All warranties, including those covering third-party equipment and components, shall commence on the date of final system acceptance. The contractor shall ensure that all third-party equipment warranties meet or exceed the minimum warranty durations specified elsewhere in this document. If a third-party manufacturer customarily offers a longer warranty period than the stated minimum, the longer duration shall apply. For any warranties issued directly by equipment manufacturers, the contractor shall formally transfer those warranties to the town of scarborough upon final acceptance. all warranties, including those covering thirdparty equipment and components, shallcommence on the date of final system acceptance. the contractor shall ensure that all thirdparty equipment warranties meet or exceed theminimum warranty durations specified elsewhere in this document. if a thirdpartymanufacturer customarily offers a longer warranty period than the stated minimum, the longerduration shall apply. for any warranties issued directly by equipment manufacturers, the contractor shall formallytransfer those warranties to the town of scarborough upon final acceptance.

The bid submission deadline is Thursday, October 2, 2025.

Payment for materials and labor will be made upon the completion of the project.

A minimum ten-year parts availability warranty, a minimum five-year full coverage replacement parts warranty, and a minimum one-year labor warranty from the sign installer are required.

Award will be made to the bid most advantageous to the town, based on price, quality, suitability, and reputation of the service or product.

Optional site visits can be set up directly with community services.

The town reserves the right to request supplemental information from the bidder, after the bids have been opened, to ensure that the products offered completely meet the itb requirements. This may include the requirement that a bidder will provide a sample product so that the town can make a firsthand examination and determination.
