Failure to execute a contract after award may result in the forfeiture of the bid deposit as liquidated damages. Non-performance may lead to the city purchasing substitute services and deducting the cost from sums due to the contractor.
The Waltham Purchasing Department may require the submission of samples either before or after the award of a contract. If specifically stated in the bid, samples must be submitted with the bid prior to the official bid opening.
Failure to submit required documents, including compliance documents, noncollusion forms, corporation identification, references, insurance, and tax forms, may cause disqualification of the proposal.
