The Waltham Purchasing Department may require the submission of samples either before or after the award of a contract. If specifically stated in the bid, samples must be submitted with the bid prior to the official bid opening.

Monthly billing statements must be submitted no later than 35 days upon completion. Invoices more than 30 days old are subject to a surcharge of 5% of the total labor cost. Payment is subject to annual appropriation of funds.

All services shall be guaranteed for a period of one year. Furniture, equipment, and similar durable items shall be guaranteed for a period of not less than one year from the date of delivery and acceptance.
