The work must be completed within 90 days of contract execution.

The payment shall be made in accordance with general laws chapter 30, section 39g **** ed. , as amended, which is included in the supplementary general conditions to the contract.

The contractor guarantees the work under this agreement and the materials furnished by him for use in connection therewith to be free from defects or flaws for one year after the completion of the agreement.

The general contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible and eligible general bidder complying with the conditions and requirements provided in these instructions, the bid forms and the other bid documents.

The bidder is requested to state below what work of a similar character to that included in the proposed contract heshe has done and to give references that will enable the owner to judge hisher experience, skill, business standing and overall responsibility.

A walkthrough of the sites will be available on February 24, 2026 at 09:00 am EST.

All questions and requests for clarifications or interpretations of the meaning of the contract documents shall be in writing, addressed to the purchasing department, city of worcester, and to be given consideration must be received at least five 5 days prior to the date fixed for opening of bids.

The bid must be accompanied by a deposit in the form of cash, or bid bond, or a certified check, treasurers check, or cashiers check, payable to the city of worcester hereinafter referred to as the owner, or the awarding authority in the amount of five percent 5 of the total value of the bid.
