Bids must be received no later than August 28th at 10 am.

The town agrees to pay the contractor within thirty 30 days of receipt of an invoice detailing the work completed and acceptance from the town of the work completed.

The contractor guarantees that all labor furnished will be competent, the product of such labor will yield only first-class results, materials and equipment will be of good quality, new, and the work will be of good quality, free from faults and defects and in strict conformance with the contract.

The town will award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.

Contractors must be qualified and provide proof of general liability and workers compensation insurance at the state-required minimum level.

Liquidated damages of $1,000 per day will be assessed for each calendar day of delay until the work is completed.

A site walkthrough is highly encouraged and is scheduled for August 12 at 10 am.

Questions regarding bid specifications must be submitted in writing by August 21st.

Failure to complete required forms, answer questions, or provide required documentation will result in the bid being deemed nonresponsive and rejected, unless determined to be a minor informality.
