Proposals will only be considered from proposers that normally engage in providing the type of services specified herein.

Proposals are due by Wednesday, August 19, 2026, by 3:00 PM EST.

Payment will be made within forty-five (45) days after receipt of an invoice acceptable to the city.

The city will award the contract to the responsive and responsible proposer whose proposal is considered to best serve the city's interest.

Proposals will only be considered from proposers that normally engage in providing the type of services specified herein.

Protests must be submitted within three business days of bid submission if the basis was known or should have been known prior, or within ten business days after the protestor knew or should have known of the basis, but no later than ten business days after award.

The city reserves the right to disqualify a proposer during any phase of the competitive solicitation process and terminate for cause any resulting contract upon evidence of collusion or other illegal practices.

The City of Stonecrest is seeking qualified and experienced bidders.

The work shall be substantially completed within 60 calendar days, after the date when the contract time commences to run as provided in the notice to proceed. The work shall be finally completed on the final completion date and ready for final payment in accordance with this agreement within 180 calendar days, after the date when the contract time commences to run as provided in the notice to proceed.

Invoices shall be submitted as follows: 1. Initial: upon completion of 50% of the project. 2. Final: upon completion and city's acceptance of work. Payment will be made within forty-five (45) days after receipt of an invoice acceptable to the city, in accordance with the Georgia Prompt Payment Act.

All materials, components and labor work performed shall be fully warranted and guaranteed for a minimum of one (1) year from date of completion of services and acceptance by the city and city engineer. Repair or replacement defects occurring in labor or products within the warranty period shall be performed and provided at no additional cost to the city.

This bid shall be awarded to the bidder providing the lowest responsive and responsible bid and meets and/or exceeds the prequalification requirements.

The City is seeking qualified and experienced bidders. Bidders must submit a Statement of Qualifications as part of the required forms.

Upon failure of the contractor to complete the work within the time specified for completion, the contractor shall pay to the city the sum of two hundred and fifty dollars (****) for each and every calendar day that the completion of the work is delayed beyond the time specified in this agreement for completion, as fixed and agreed liquidated damages and not as a penalty, so long as the delay is caused by the contractor.

There will be a prebid meeting on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at 10:30 am, local time, at City of Stonecrest Annex Conference Room. Upon completion of the prebid meeting, staff and vendors will drive to the site. Site visit location: Everett Park located at **** Klondike Road, Stonecrest, Georgia ****.

The deadline to submit non-administrative questions is Friday, July 10, 2026, by 5:00 p. m.

No bid response will be accepted from, nor will any contract be awarded to, any person who is in arrears to the city, upon any debt or contract, or who has defaulted, as surety or otherwise, upon any obligation to the city.
