Lincoln School Department is seeking proposals for an athletic scoreboard for Lincoln Middle School's turf field. The project includes furnishing and installation to a full turnkey operation, with hardwired connectivity. Proposals are due August 11, 2026, at 2:00 PM. An on-site visit is scheduled for August 4, 2026, at 10:30 AM. Questions are due by August 7, 2026. The award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible offeror, with factors beyond price considered. A bid bond or certified check of 10% of the bid price is required.
The proposal submission deadline is Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at 2:00 PM. The contract award date is tentatively August 17, 2026.
Labor and equipment warranty included for up to 1 year after final installation and district inspection.
The district shall award to the lowest responsive and responsible offeror. Factors other than price will be used in determining the lowest responsible and responsive offeror. Those factors include but not limited to: demonstrated experience in the type of work required, quality of the work performed previously by the offeror for the district and town of Lincoln, professional background, experience, service and expertise of the offeror and length of all warranties that cover the equipment andor work.
No proposal shall be accepted from, and no contract will be awarded to, any person, firm, or corporation that is deemed irresponsible or unreliable to the district. Offerors shall provide previous experience and references, and disclose any previous defaults on contracts.
An on-site meeting for interested offerors is scheduled for Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at 10:30 AM at Lincoln Middle School Athletic Field.
Any offeror who is aggrieved in connection with the awarding of a contract shall protest to the school business administrator within five 5 calendar days of the date of award by the school committee.
Proposals received after the scheduled deadline will be disqualified immediately. Proposals which are uncertain as to terms, delivery, quantity, or compliance with requirement andor specifications may be rejected or otherwise disregarded. Failure to respond to each of the items in the proposal content section may result in the offeror's proposal being deemed nonresponsive.
