Seeking bids for bituminous concrete (asphalt) for sidewalks and road bases, city-wide, for **** are due July 13, 2026. Questions deadline is July 2, 2026. An online pre-submission conference is scheduled for June 24, 2026. Award will be made to the lowest qualified and responsible bidder. Delivery is required within 24-hour notice by 9:00 am. Contract is for one year, July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027. Unit pricing must remain firm. Invoices are payable net30. Proof of insurance, business tax ID, and certificate of good standing may be required after award.
Unless otherwise directed, materials shall be delivered by 9:00 am, provided a 24-hour notice is given by the department. Failure to perform shall be the cause for cancellation of any order at no charge to the city.
Invoices submitted to the city shall be payable sixty 60 days from the time of receipt by the city. Invoices shall include support documentation and necessary to evidence completion of the work being invoiced.
Final evaluations will be determined by lowest unit costs and ability to provide delivery service. The board of contract and supply will make the award to the lowest qualified and responsible bidder.
Bidders must be qualified vendors. The department of public works is seeking bids from qualified vendors to furnish and deliver bituminous concrete for sidewalks and road basses city- wide in accordance with the following specifications stated herin.
Failure to deliver within the time quoted or failure to meet specifications may result in default. Failure to perform shall be the cause for cancellation of any order at no charge to the city. Additional failure to perform may result in the termination of any future orders for materials.
