Independent Auditors Annual audits of the financial statements of Cameron County and related entities for fiscal year end 9/30/2026 and 9/30/2027. Audits are to be conducted in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards and standards applicable to financial audits contained in Government Auditing Standards issued by the Comptroller General of the United States. The selected accounting firm must plan and perform the audit to obtain reasonable assurance about whether the respective financial statements are free of material misstatement. Cameron County' s audit includes the audit of Cameron County and the related, OMB- mandated single audit. Each renewal is subject to Commissioners Court approval.
