Entire Official Bid Document and Bid Bond ( if required) should be combined as one PDF and uploaded The Base BID Work shall include construction of a reinforced concrete auxiliary spillway with two, 8 feet by 16 feet, precast concrete culverts through the dam crest to serve as the spillway inlet with a reinforced concrete stepped chute along the downstream slope that discharges into a reinforced concrete stilling basin at the toe of the dam. A reinforced concrete floodwall with concrete cutoff shall be constructed along the upstream crest of the dam along KY- 555 with rockfill placed along the upstream slope of the dam. A rockfill stability berm shall be constructed along the downstream slope. The BASE BID Work further includes a new low- level drawdown valve in the dry well of the riser structure, replacement of the existing low level drawdown valve, and remediation of concrete cracking and seepage in the existing principal spillway culvert. In addition, the City of Springfields raw water intake will be abandoned and new raw water intake lines installed within the principal spillway culvert. A Contractor designed Water Diversion Plan is required. A phased work approach is specified that includes the initial installation of an RTU at grade and an ERV unit in the Attic, removal of the AHU from the Basement, selected removal/modification of ductwork throughout the building, installation of ductwork in the Basement and Attic, and replacement of supply air ductwork to each Cell. Structural work includes Attic slab framing, supports, and slab penetration reinforcement. Architectural work includes repair and modification of selected windows, revisions to windows for mounting of exhaust fans. Installation of a natural gas line to the RTU and electrical services to HVAC equipment. A new smoke evacuation system will be provided. The work of the Project is considered within the KSP security boundary. All work must be performed in a sequenced effort coordinated with the KSP.

The Chiller and Chilled Water System of the ADAIR YDC Facility will be removed and replaced per the International Mechanical Code, ASHRAE, Kentucky Building Code with Current Revisions, Americans with Disabilities Act, International Building Code, and National Electrical Code. The Contractor shall remove and take ownership of the existing chiller. The contractor shall disconnect the existing chiller from power and control and, disconnect the existing chiller from piping and mounting. Remove the existing chiller from its installed location and make the location ready for the new chiller described in the following. Make legal and lawful disposal of the chiller, which involves recycling of the unit beginning with refrigerant recovery and dismantling of the assembly for recycling or other appropriate disposition.
