The Illinois Department of Natural Resources is seeking bids for agricultural farming services on state-owned property at Stephen A. Forbes State Park. The lease term is from March 1, 2026, to February 28, 2031, with a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting on October 21, 2025. The lessee must guarantee lease payment by submitting the full amount of rent within thirty days after contract execution and before March 1st each year, or by providing an irrevocable letter of credit. Additional services are allowed, and the total price of the contract is firm. The contract may not be renewed. The state may terminate the contract under certain conditions. The vendor must provide all necessary labor, machinery, tools, seed, fertilizer, equipment, and insurance. The vendor must also provide an equipment list.
