Glass Sealant Government Bids & RFPs

The contract period is twelve 12 months from notice to proceed.

The state shall have 30 calendar days after receipt of the invoice or satisfactory performance of the services to make payment.

The contractor shall provide a one-year warranty for all work done. The contractor shall submit written warranty documentation within ten 10 working days of contract signing.

Award, if made, shall be to the responsible offeror whose offer is responsive with the lowest evaluated total sum bid price.

The offeror shall have a minimum of five consecutive years of experience immediately prior to the bid opening date in the field of window construction or repair service.

Liquidated damages are fixed at the sum of five hundred dollars $500 per calendar day per location per violation, if the contractor fails to perform in whole or in part any of their obligations specified herein.

Prospective qualified offerors are encouraged to conduct their own onsite inspections of the service areas site visitation.

A protest shall be submitted in writing within five 5 working days after the aggrieved person knows or should have known of the facts giving rise thereto provided that a protest based upon the content of the solicitation shall be submitted in writing prior to the date set for receipt of offers.

Failure to comply with the conditions of section 22. 0 during the period of the contract to perform services shall result in cancellation of the contract.

All glass removal and installation shall be completed within 60 days after glass panels are produced and received by the contractor. The entire contract will be 180 days from contract award.

Payment will be made in arrears after completion and acceptance of all services. Invoices shall be submitted in arrears.

The contractor warrants and implies that the items delivered hereunder are merchantable and fit for use for the particular purpose described in this contract.

All contractor and subcontractor employees working on the project shall have passed a local sheriff/police department, fingerprinting and background check prior to working at the Lee County Health Care Clinic.

If the appropriate correction is not made within the timeframe specified, the government shall have the right to terminate the contract in its entirety.

A site visit will be made available for all those who want to attend. The site visit will be conducted on the 22nd of June 2026 at 9 am at the Department of Veterans Affairs, Lee County Health Clinic LCHC.

The contractor shall be responsible for providing a **** glass panel product sample for color acceptance and glass panel construction acceptance.

Violations of VA regulations may result in citation answerable in the United States federal district court. If the appropriate correction is not made within the timeframe specified, the government shall have the right to terminate the contract in its entirety.

Payment applications require sworn statements, certified payroll, and supporting documentation. Specifics are detailed in the Payment Package Document Requirements section.

The contractor must provide a warranty of work in accordance with project documents as part of the final payment application checklist.

The university is not obligated to accept the lowest or any other bid and reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The competency and responsibility of bidders will be considered. The award will be to the lowest qualified bidder.

Bidders must be prequalified and submit a completed prequalification statement questionnaire with their bid. The university will request information from the low bidders to satisfy them that the bidder is adequately prepared.
