Traceability and certification requirements are imperative to assure correct materials are installed. The certification data report must completely and accurately reflect that the material supplied meets the specified requirements. All welding electrodes, inserts must be sample inspected. All data concerning material verification, chemical and mechanical properties, traceability, material certifications, material unit container marking, and NDT certifications for material must be 100 inspected. The certificate of compliance must show traceability to the marking applied on each individual item.
