The period of performance for the base year is from 01 Sep 2026 to 31 Aug 2027. Option periods extend through 31 Aug 2031.

Payment will be made by Wide Area Workflow (WAWF). Contractors must register and use WAWF for submitting payment requests and receiving reports.

The government will award a contract to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered.

The government is interested in a well-qualified small-sized business capable of meeting this requirement. Recent relevant experience and specific location distance from JB Andrews should be provided.

The estimated total value is $8,000,****.

Uniforms are needed before October 1, 2026, and delivered to Eastridge High School, **** Ridge Road, East Rochester, NY ****.

Payment will be made only after correct presentation of claim forms or invoices as may be required.

Equipment excluding musical accessories to carry full manufacturers warranty.

Awards will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.

Responsibility to perform: Vendor will promptly supply proof of the ability to perform under the bid specifications or contract upon request of the school district.

In the event of cancellation for non performance, the vendor shall be liable for all additional costs incurred by the district and any penalties imposed by the terms of these bid specifications.

The district reserves the right to request samples from a vendor bidding an alternate brand as an equivalent to the specified brand for its evaluation prior to bid award.

Every request for interpretation should be in writing, addressed to the East Irondequoit Central School District, not later than five 5 days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids.

Failure to complete, sign and attach this certification may disqualify the bid.

The bid proposals must be received until 2:00 p. m. on Monday, June 1, 2026.

Payment will be made within thirty 30 days of receipt of correct claim forms and/or invoices with required supporting documentation.

Award will be made to the lowest responsible bidder, as will best promote the public interest, taking into consideration the reliability of the bidder, the quality of the labor, materials, equipment, or supplies to be furnished, their conformity with the specifications, the purposes for which required, and the terms of delivery.

A bidder must possess and demonstrate facilities, knowledge and capabilities to satisfy all requirements of this contract, be able to demonstrate at least 5 five years of continuous service for the work and services described, and must demonstrate that it is a responsible service possessing adequate financial resources to accomplish the various services as described herein and that it has a satisfactory record of performance and integrity.

There may be deducted from the amount payable to the successful bidder a penalty of one hundred dollars for each person for each calendar day during which such person was discriminated against or intimidated in violation of the provisions of the contract.

Every request for interpretation of the meaning of the specifications or other contract document should be made in writing, not later than seven 7 days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids.

If, in the opinion of the school district, the bidder is not properly qualified or responsible to perform any obligations of the contract bid upon, the school district reserves the right to reject its bid.

The bid submission deadline is April 29, 2026, at 2:00 PM. The contract term is three years commencing July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2029, with options to renew for up to two additional one-year terms.

The bid notice states that the vendor shall submit invoices on a monthly basis for payment, and all payments will be made within thirty (30) days of receipt of a correct itemized invoice.

The vendor expressly warrants that the goods covered by the contract will conform to specifications, be merchantable and fit for purpose, and be free from defects in material and workmanship. Bidders must have a minimum of three years of experience providing laundry and/or dry cleaning services of similar scope, the operational capability to meet the required 72-hour turnaround time, and the ability to meet the specified service delivery options.

The bid notice does not explicitly detail specific penalties for non-compliance, but it does state that failure to maintain the selected service option throughout the contract term may result in termination, and unacceptable cleaning may result in items being returned to be re-cleaned at no additional cost.
