Irving Independent School District (Irving ISD) is seeking proposals for a radio communications system and related services. The term of award will be one year with the option to renew for four additional 12-month periods. Proposals must be submitted electronically. Specific questions must be submitted via the questions tab before the written questions deadline. The successful vendors will be notified in writing after review and acceptance by the district. The district reserves the right to accept or reject all or any part of any proposal. The evaluation criteria include price, quality, suitability, and vendor reputation. Presentations will be scheduled with the top three proposers. Vendors must complete all mandatory required forms. The district is subject to the Texas Public Information Act (TPIA).

Irving ISD pays net 30 or at point of sale and complies with the state of texas payment law, texas government code, chapter ****.
The radio system installed will provide 100 coverage within the districts boundaries and structures.
In evaluating proposals submitted, the following considerations will be taken into account but not limited to: price, quality, suitability for intended use, and probability of continuous availability, time of service, delivery and vendor reputation.
To be qualified, the contractor will meet the following requirements: actively selling and servicing twoway radios for at least 1 year be able to provide at least three references for installations of similar size, scope and complexity completed within the last 5 years.
Samples, when requested, must be furnished within five 5 working days of the request at no cost to the district.
