An item is beyond economical repair (BER) if the cost of repair exceeds 75% of the production quantity price to replace the item. The contractor shall obtain written concurrence from DCMA for all BER units. Missing on induction (MOI) items require notification to DCMA and written verification. The contractor is responsible for supplying all parts and material unless identified as government furnished material (GFM). All parts and material must be new, in accordance with FAR **** requires PCO approval. The contractor shall maintain a quality system conforming to ISO **** or SAE **** and a calibration system meeting ANSI/NCSL ****, ISO ****, or equivalent. The contractor shall maintain a configuration management plan. Markings shall be as indicated in the contract. The contractor shall provide a proper enclosed warehouse environment for storage.
