The City of Sunrise is seeking bids for Basin 15 Drainage Improvements Phase 3, specifically focusing on culvert reinforcement at the Hiatus Road canal crossing. The project involves installing a 54-inch reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) parallel to the existing culvert to upgrade hydraulic flow capacity to that of a single 72-inch RCP. Work includes sediment and turbidity control, pollution prevention, clearing and grubbing, traffic maintenance, dewatering, canal bypass pumping, installing the RCP, constructing endwalls and manhole structures, demolition, restoration of pavement and curbs, pavement milling and resurfacing, pavement markings, and sodding. Contractors are responsible for preparing as-built record drawings. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at City Hall on June 8, 2026, at 9:00 AM, followed by a site visit.
