The work must be substantially completed by November 30, 2026.

Sauk County will pay properly submitted vendor invoices within forty-five (45) days of receipt of goods and services. Payment will not be made until goods and/or services are delivered, installed if required, and accepted as specified.

Goods and equipment purchased must be warranted against defects by the vendor for one (1) year from the date of receipt, unless otherwise expressed in writing. An equipment manufacturer's standard warranty must apply as a minimum.

The award of a contract shall be based on the most responsible, responsive vendor in combination with the pricing, conforming to the specifications, terms and conditions.

The county reserves the right to investigate all references and past performance of any vendor with respect to its successful performance of similar services, its compliance with specifications and contractual obligations, its completion or delivery of a project on schedule, its lawful payment of subcontractors and workers, and any other factor relevant to this RFP.

Failure of the awardee to perform any of the provisions of the contract constitutes a breach of contract, in which case the county may require corrective action within ten calendar days. Failure to take corrective action or provide a written reply constitutes a default, and the contractor must be liable for liquidated damages, if any.

A mandatory pre-proposal meeting and site visit will be held on Monday, June 15th, at 10:00 a. m. at the Tri-County Airport Terminal Building. Vendors who do not attend the mandatory meeting will be disqualified.

Vendors who do not attend the mandatory pre-proposal meeting and site visit will be disqualified from submitting a proposal.

Firms shall be knowledgeable in written and spoken english. In accordance with DOSAR **** authorization and performance aug ****, it will be necessary for your organization to possess authorization to operate and do business in the country in which this contract will be performed. Contractors shall be required to provide: a. a thorough description as to what steps you have taken to investigate all requirements to obtain authorization to perform in the given country, b. details of your findings and a description of what your organization will be required to undertake to obtain licensing, and c. specific information concerning the period of time you anticipate it will take to obtain appropriate authorization. You will be required to provide information that clearly shows you are able to perform work in Ghana. Any entry or work visa issues requirements must be clearly discussed with a plan to mitigate any risk clearly identified. The failure to provide the above documentation when submitting your proposal may result in your proposal being found technically unacceptable and removed from the competition without further discussions.

Invoices including any deductions for liquidated damages shall be submitted for payment to the business services supervisor.
