This is a public tender for the purchase and delivery of corrugated plastic pipe (CPP) and various fittings for the City and Borough of Juneau (CBJ), Public Works, Engineering Division. Bids are due by April 23, 2026, at 2:00 PM Alaska Time. Responses must be submitted electronically via Public Purchase. Contractors must register on Public Purchase and complete the online registration process. Bidders are required to submit a pricing schedule, download and upload the signed bidder's signature page and equivalent variance page, and acknowledge the terms and conditions. Questions must be submitted in writing to ***@***. *. * at least seven business days prior to the bid deadline. Addenda will be issued as needed. The contract administrator will be Bryce Iverson. Pricing should be FOB destination, including all shipping and delivery costs. Delivery is requested within 30 calendar days after receipt of order (ARO). The CBJ may issue purchase orders for quantities listed and may ask the vendor to honor pricing for additional quantities within the fiscal year. Bidders must offer items that meet technical specifications or propose an equivalent with detailed justification on the variance page. Failure to describe variances or justify equivalents may lead to bid rejection. The CBJ reserves the right to determine the suitability of offered items. The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and obtain necessary licenses and permits. Parts availability must be guaranteed for a minimum of ten years. Materials and assembly must be free of damages and defects and conform to industry standards. Award will be made to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder. The bid includes technical specifications for various sizes of CPP pipes, couplers, plugs, catch basin inserts, tees, manhole frames, and covers. The city does not guarantee any minimum or maximum orders.
The delivery at the final destination is requested within 30 thirty calendar days after receipt of order (ARO). Indicate on the bid schedule and signature page, the number of calendar days required for delivery.
The manufacturer must guarantee parts availability for a minimum of ten 10 years or the reasonable life of the units, whichever is greater.
Award will be made by total bid to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder meeting all requirements.
Contractors who successfully register may submit a pricing schedule and be considered if they complete the following: access the solicitation online at public purchase and complete pricing for the line item listed, public purchase will automatically calculate the totals. In the event the primary contractor cannot meet their obligation, the city will contract with the next available contractor and will hold the original contractor responsible for any incidental and consequential damages incurred.
