The tender requires exterior maintenance and painting services for multiple static aircraft
displays at Travis AFB. The contractor must furnish all necessary tools, vehicles, qualified personnel, materials, and services. The work must be performed in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS), including specific requirements for aircraft washing, sanding, repair, protection, and painting, adherence to AFIs, appendices, colors, markings, decals, protection against animal intrusion, utilities, strong winds, work area cleanliness, physical security, conservation of utilities, airpark, environmental spills, hazardous waste, safety data sheets, biodegradable cleanser, project coordination, work planning, timeline, site visit, contract award, startend dates, contractor personnel, portfolio, references, designated representative, work hours, minimum experience, historical aircraft, museum artifacts, resumes, vehicle access, speed limit, compliance with laws, regulations, and requirements, environmental protection, reporting environmental spills, disposal of hazardous waste, government furnished property, utilities. A site visit is required within 45 days of contract award. Work must commence no later than 90 days after contract award. A roster of contractor personnel must be provided to the AFB staff 15 working days prior to the start of work. The contractor must have a minimum of 10 years experience working with historic aircraft and artifacts, and provide a portfolio with before and after photographs of previous work.
