This is a non-personal services contract to provide shuttle service drivers for ambulatory and non-ambulatory patients and staff at the General Leonard Wood Community Hospital (GLWCH) in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. The contractor shall operate four government-owned contractor-operated (GOCO) shuttles. The period of performance includes a one-year base period plus two option years. Key requirements include a Quality Control Plan, security clearances (Tier 1 background check), driver qualifications (high school diploma, 6 months driving experience, Missouri Class E license, no DUI in 5 years), vehicular and general public liability insurance, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, drug screening, and specific health and immunization requirements. The contractor must also provide distinctive uniforms and submit monthly and quarterly reports. Invoicing will be done monthly in arrears. The contractor shall submit monthly, in arrears, itemized invoices in accordance with DFARS ****, for services rendered under this contract.
The government intends to award a firm fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation.
Preliminary government minimum requirements consist of a high school diploma, six months of driving experience, and a current Missouri Class E for-hire driver's license. Additionally, drivers shall not have had their driving privileges limited, suspended, or revoked, nor had a DUI conviction within 5 years prior to employment.
If damage or loss occurs to incidental property during performance which is a direct result of contractor negligence, the contractor's invoice shall be reduced by the amount of damage/loss resulting from their negligent action/inaction as directed by the contracting officer. In addition, a negative performance assessment will be considered.
There is no potential for a site visit on this requirement.
