The Illinois Department of Agriculture is seeking a vendor to provide ISO/IEC **** accreditation services for its cannabis testing laboratory. The contract has an initial term of 4 years, with a maximum total term of 10 years. The total price of the contract is firm. Subcontracting is not allowed. The vendor must comply with all applicable Illinois certifications and regulations. The vendor must maintain records for 3 years after final payment or contract completion, or 5 years if federal funds are used. The state may terminate the contract for cause or convenience. Payment terms are in accordance with the state prompt payment act. The vendor must provide insurance certificates. The vendor must act as an independent contractor. The vendor must not employ any state employee during the contract term. The vendor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, ordinances, regulations, orders, federal circulars and all license and permit requirements. The vendor must be a recognized and reputable accreditation body with a proven track record of accrediting analytical laboratories, particularly those in the cannabis, food, or pharmaceutical sectors. The vendor must be a signatory to the international laboratory accreditation cooperation mutual recognition agreement, and qualified to perform accreditation services for testing laboratories in accordance with iso****: 2017. The vendor must demonstrate extensive experience in providing isoiec **** accreditation services for laboratories performing similar analytical testing e. g. , chemical, microbiological. The vendor mush possess technical assessors with demonstrable expertise in the specific analytical areas such as cannabinoids, solvents, microbials, heavy metals, mycotoxins, pesticides, and experience with cannabis matrices. The vendor must operate with complete impartiality and independence from the laboratory being accredited. The vendor must perform the work during the regular hours, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. All services shall be performed in the United States.
