Small Business Innovation Research ( SBIR) Direct to Phase II Program for developing new education technology products to ready existing evidence- based innovations for use at scale and plan for commercialization. The projects funded through this solicitation are intended to result in the successful transition of existing evidence based innovations to education through the distribution of scalable new education technology products that are sustainable over time. Anticipated award is $ 1, 000, 000 over two years.

One or more of the researchers who originally conceptualized and developed the innovation must be part of the team in the proposed EDIES SBIR project.
Offerors are not permitted to submit the same or similar proposals under the 2026 Phase IA, IB, or Direct to Phase II solicitations. Any duplicate or similar proposals submitted under more than one of these solicitations will be rejected without review.
The estimated total value for the Direct to Phase II project is $1,000,000 over a period of two years.
