Beaufort County School District is seeking proposals for a comprehensive Facilities Condition Assessment (FCA) of all district-owned facilities. Proposals are due by July 15, 2026, at 4:00 PM EST. The assessment includes evaluating building systems, identifying deficiencies, estimating costs, and providing data for capital planning. Key staff qualifications, past performance, and workload will be evaluated. Background checks are required for personnel on district property.
Responses are due by 4:00 PM EST on July 15, 2026.
Payment shall be made in accordance with S. C. Code section ****, or chapter 6 title 29 real property improvements when applicable. Payment will be made by check mailed to the payment address on page two.
Offeror shall represent and warrant that the requirements are fully understood in all matters affecting the performance of the services, furnishing the labor, supplies, material, and equipment required of these services that the proposal has been checked for errors and omissions that the prices stated are correct and as intended and that they are a complete and correct statement of prices for performing the work or furnishing the labor, supplies, materials, and equipment in accordance with the contract documents.
Awards will be made to the highest ranked responsive and responsible offerors whose offer is determined to be the most advantageous for the district. Evaluation will be based on past performance, key personnel experience, best interest of BCSD, recent, current, and projected workloads of the firms, and related experience on similar projects.
To be eligible for award, offerors must have the capability in all respects to perform fully the contract requirements and the integrity and reliability which will assure good faith performance. This includes general history and experience, detailed narrative of comparable contracts, list of similar projects, understanding of industry standards, appropriate certifications, licenses, permits, knowledge of laws, list of failed projects, and references.

Do not submit bid samples or descriptive literature unless expressly requested. Unsolicited bid samples or descriptive literature will not be examined or tested.
To protest a solicitation, you must submit a protest within fifteen days of the date the applicable solicitation document is issued. To protest an award, you must submit notice of your intent to protest within seven business days of the date the award notice is posted, and submit your actual protest within fifteen days of the date the award notice is posted.
