Bids will be received until 1:00 PM on July 30, 2025, and opened publicly. A bid deposit of $5,000 is required. The harvesting crew's names and references must be included in the proposal. The buyer must comply with all state and county laws and regulations. The buyer is responsible for any violations on the department's property. The buyer must pay three times the stumpage value for each tree not in the contract that is cut or wantonly damaged. The buyer must use best management practices and obtain an erosion and sediment control permit. Restoration work is the buyer's responsibility.
