Property must be removed from government premises within five business days after customs approval. Storage charges may apply for late removal.

Payments must be in U. S. currency via Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT), Bank Account ACH, or credit card (Mastercard, Visa, Discover, American Express). Checks or other paper instruments are not accepted. Credit card transactions are limited to $24,****.

The contract will be awarded to the highest responsive bid submitted by a responsible bidder.

Bidders must be responsible, meaning they have the necessary organization, experience, financial resources, and facilities, and are not suspended, debarred, or ineligible.

Inspections are mandatory and available Monday-Friday, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm, excluding holidays. Contact the SPOC at least 48 hours in advance to schedule.

Bidders may be ineligible if they are indebted to the U. S. government, excluded from federal programs, or subject to sanctions under export control laws.

The total original acquisition value for a three-year term contract is estimated at $7,500,****.

If the contracting officer determines that failure to remove the property within the period of time originally allowed arose out of causes beyond the control and without the fault or negligence of the purchaser, a reasonable extension of time for removal shall be allowed.

Once cleared, a notice will be sent to DLA Disposition Service Field Office as an official notification that property may be released. Property will not be released until payment is received.

Unless otherwise provided in the sale, the government makes no warranty, express or implied, as to quantity, kind, character, quality, weight, size, or description of any of the property, or its fitness for any use or purpose. This is not a sale by sample.

The contract will be awarded to that responsible bidder whose bid conforming to the sale will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered.

The bidder warrants that he/she is not under 18 years of age, not an employee of an agency of the federal government either as a civilian or as a member of the armed forces of the United States on active duty prohibited by the regulations of that agency from purchasing property sold hereunder, and not an agent or immediate member of the household of an employee in b, above.

If the purchaser fails to pay for the property or remove the same within the prescribed periods of time, the government shall be entitled to retain or collect as liquidated damages a sum equal to the greater of 20 percent of the purchase price of the items as to which the default has occurred, or $25, whichever is greater.

The bidder is invited, urged, and cautioned to inspect the property prior to submitting a bid. Property will be available for inspection at the places and times specified in the sale.

Individuals and firms who have committed a trade control violation, are indebted to the government, are suspended, proposed for debarment or debarred, or are listed in the Department of Commerce excluded parties lists are prohibited from participating.
