The Estes Valley Recreation and Park District (EVRPD) is seeking proposals for the replacement of the lap pool deck surfacing system at the Estes Valley Community Center. The project involves demolition of the existing system, surface preparation, and installation of a new polyaspartic quartz deck surfacing system. A mandatory pre-proposal site visit is scheduled for July 27, 2026. Proposals are due by August 13, 2026. The district reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Key evaluation factors include proposer experience, quality of proposed system, schedule adherence, cost, and references.
Proposals must be received no later than 1:00 p. m. MDT on Thursday, August 13, 2026. Project completion is scheduled for November 14, 2026.
The district payment terms for the project contract shall be net 30 days.
The contractor shall provide the manufacturer's standard warranty for the proposed deck surfacing system and a minimum one (1) year workmanship warranty.
Proposals will be evaluated based on experience and qualifications, quality of the proposed system, ability to complete the project within schedule, cost and overall value, and references.
Offerors must demonstrate adequate financial resources, ability to comply with the schedule, a satisfactory record of performance on similar projects, integrity, ethical business practices, and be properly licensed and qualified to perform the work in Colorado.
Liquidated damages will be assessed at the rate of **** per day for project work not completed within the specified timelines.
A mandatory pre-proposal site visit will be held on Monday, July 27, 2026, at 10:00 a. m. MDT at the Estes Valley Community Center. Attendance is required.
Questions regarding this RFP will be accepted until Friday, August 7, 2026, at 5:00 p. m. MDT.
Unauthorized communication regarding the RFP may result in disqualification. Failure to attend the mandatory pre-proposal site visit may also result in disqualification.
