The Oregon Department of Corrections (ODOC) is seeking bids for the purchase of chicken strips. Bids must be submitted by December 31, 2025. The goods are to be delivered to the ODOC's Central Distribution Center in Salem, Oregon. The bid includes specifications for the chicken strips, including size, fat content, and sodium content. Bidders must submit samples if requested. The bid also includes preferences for Oregon goods and services. The contract start date is to be determined. Clarifications and changes must be requested by December 23, 2025.
The bid notice states aro, one 1 ftl to be delivered within 30 days with the following ftls to be delivered 30 days apart or as scheduled by warehouse staff until the order is complete.
Payment for completion of state contracts is normally made within 30 days following the date the entire order is delivered and accepted or the date the invoice is received, whichever is later.
The contractor warrants that all goods, including all equipment provided under this contract shall be new, unused, current production models, where applicable, and shall be free from defects in materials, design and manufacture for the duration of this contract.
The method of award is based on the lowest responsive bids by responsible bidder per line item, groups of items, or all or none, whichever is in the best interest of ODOC.
Bidders must provide federal employee identification number or social security number with bid.
If the problem continues beyond the specified period the contractor may be found in breach of the contract, and the contract may be canceled.
ODOC reserves the right to request samples after bid closing from one or more bidders during the evaluation process.
Any bidder requiring clarification of any provision of the itb may make a request for clarification via email, to the spc and email listed in section 2. 2 single point of contact. to be considered, odoc must receive the request for clarification by the deadline specified in section 1. 1 schedule of events.
