Procurement for three electric trams for Niagara Falls State Park. Bids are due August 14, 2026, at 3:00 PM ET. Key requirements include a minimum passenger capacity of 36 plus one wheelchair, ADA compliance, and a programmable speed controller limiting speed to 15 mph. The agency pays charges after the services and/or products are provided and does not pay in advance. Payments will be made in accordance with article XIA of the State Finance Law.
All materials and workmanship provided under the resultant contract shall be warranted for a minimum of one year. Additionally, the vendor must offer a three-year warranty of chassis and power train.
The award will be made to a responsive, responsible, and qualified bidder who offers the lowest grand total bid meeting all minimum specifications.
Bidders shall comply with the laws of the State of New York and shall possess or obtain any required licenses, permits, or authorizations. Bidders must provide written documentation from the manufacturer stating they are authorized to sell and repair its products (if not the manufacturer) and a specification sheet for the product being offered.
Any dispute arising from this IFB, or from any resulting contract, shall be submitted in writing within seven (7) business days after the issuance of the award recommendation letter.
Contacting individuals other than the designated contacts may result in disqualification. Failure to incorporate all applicable amendment information into the bidder's proposal may result in disqualification. Proposals not packaged accordingly may be deemed nonresponsive.
