Bid must include freight and handling costs. Final inspection and approval by an authorized representative of Barrow County Schools is required prior to payment. All invoices should be tax exempt. Part quotes are expected within 2 days of request. Parts must be delivered to the transportation shop. The Barrow County Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any or all parts of bids submitted, award the contract by line item, specific category or in entirety to one vendor, use multiple vendors, or return to the original vendor. Items will be awarded based on requested and received information, vendor history and experience, references submitted, reliability, price availability of product and overall value to the school district. Invoices must have a printed PO number. The Barrow County Board of Education reserves the right to terminate the contract at any time with a 30-day written notice due to lack of performance or violation of any part of the contract. The Town of Landis is seeking proposals for the replacement of sidewalks in downtown Landis. Vendors must submit a proposal for a four drum puller, including qualifications, references, company narrative, property/liability and worker's compensation certification, independent contractor statement, and certification regarding lobbying. Proposals are due on March 25, 2025, by 2:00 PM, and must be mailed or hand-delivered to Maddalyn Shuffler, Deputy Town Clerk. All employees of the selected contractor will be required to submit to a background check. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all responses and to request additional information. Minority business enterprises (MBEs) will be given priority consideration. The Town intends to accept the lowest responsible/responsive proposal.
