Sealed bids are accepted until August 20, 2026, for the 2026 striping bid. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for August 6 at 10:00 am. Bids must be submitted on provided forms and include turnaround time. A performance bond is required for work exceeding $50,000. 00. The contract requires payment of prevailing wages. Work must be completed within 90 calendar days from the notice to proceed. The contractor is responsible for traffic control, surface preparation, and restoration of any damaged items within the right-of-way. A 12-month guarantee against defective workmanship and materials is required.

Payment is made on the third Tuesday of the month delivered.
The contractor shall guarantee all material and work performed for a period of 12 months after acceptance by the city, covering defective workmanship and/or material.
The contract will be awarded on the basis of the lowest total bid, from the lowest responsive, responsible, qualified bidder whose evaluation indicates to the city that the award will be in the best interests of the project and the city.
The successful bidder will be required to have completed ten hours of OSHA safety training before performing any work.
If a contractor is found not to have paid prevailing wages, the contractor shall forfeit as a penalty to the city one hundred dollars for each underpaid worker employed, for each calendar day, or portion thereof such worker is paid less than the said stipulated rates.

Failure to comply with insurance requirements may result in immediate forfeiture of license. The city reserves the right to reject the bid of any bidder it believes would not be in the best interest of the city to make an award to that bidder.
