Project involves the construction of Crescent Boulevard and Lee Begole Drive Extension, including water main, storm sewer, roadway, sidewalks, box culverts, and a roundabout. Bids are due July 23rd, 2026, at 1:00 PM. A pre-bid conference is scheduled for July 14th, 2026. Bid security of 5% is required. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder. Liquidated damages of $2,**** per day apply for delays.
Phase 1 Base Bid open to traffic is November 13, 2026. Bid Alternate 1 substantial completion is April 1, 2027. Phase 2 Base Bid substantial completion is August 20, 2027. Project final completion is October 29, 2027.
Progress payments will be made monthly, covering 90% of the value of work done, less previous payments. Final payment will be made within 30 days after final inspection and acceptance, provided all documentation is acceptable.
A one-year maintenance bond is required for repairs or replacement of deficiencies in labor or material from the date of formal acceptance.
The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder based on the unit prices for all work specified.
Bidders must furnish applicable information on the enclosed bidders qualification and experience statement, which must be submitted with the sealed bid.
Liquidated damages of $2,**** per calendar day will be assessed for each day the work is in default of substantial completion.
Mistakes in bid preparation can be addressed within 24 hours after bid opening for withdrawal, otherwise no withdrawal is permitted.
Failure to execute the agreement and furnish required contract security within ten days of notice of award may result in forfeiture of bid security and annulment of the award. Having an interest in more than one bid may lead to disqualification.
